- No. The taxpayers pay it.
- my advice to you is that, if you want to get in the government try becoming a government contractor first. Let them see how professional and how much work ethic you posse, then once a job opens up in the department you'll be considered 1st before any other outsider. As far as the health care, they don't pay 100%. You can choose either Blue Cross, Aetna, Kaiser of which ever. Go to the OPM (Office of Personnel Management) website and look at the benefits. Good Luck
- No they do not, you will have to pay a premium every month. Depending on which plan you choose, your monthly cost will be around: $80.00 per month for single coverage $180.00 a month for family coverage. You will have a choice of which health care plan you want. In LA, there are like 15 choices, blue cross and artna are included. I put a link below, Type in your zip code and it will give you a list of Federal health care plans and their cost for you to look at for the Los Angeles area.
- Only if you are a Senator or Congressperson!!!
