- Lots of people have no dental insurance- there are payment plans available or discounts available for you. Unfortunately, you still need the dentist. Carecredit or Capitalone healthcare finance offers options, it just depends on the dentist you go to. You have to apply.
- I have heard some people say that you can go to a dental school, at a local university. They might still charge you, but at least a dental student will be working on you, with a real dentist looking on.
- I suggest researching local dental schools in your area. Dont fret over the idea...because they are students they will take their time, and be extra gentle. A teacher will be present when a procedure is performed. The cost is considerably less than an outside dentist.

- Most take credit cards or the CARE CREDIT type healthcare financing....it can be done...and really, most general dental care is very affordable....
- You can save a significant amount of money with reasonably-priced discount dental plans. The dentists in these plans have agreed to charge you a major discount for dental services. There are no claim forms to fill out. To see which dental plans are available in your area, key in your zip code at http://www.lowpriceddentalplans.com.
- There are dentist who accommodate patient with no dental plans. But they prefer those who have dental plans.
