Scan Medical Insurance

Do you believe Americans are Jelious that We Canadians have the greatest Universal Healthcare system worldwide

I have never waited more than 1 hour to see a doctor. i needed surgery on my hand after an accident at work. I was seen in under 5 minutes and in surgery within an hour. No cost to me. In the united states this would have costs over $140,000 according to my doctor. With 60,000,000 ( Sixty Million) american without insurance, they probably would have lost their hand if they had no insurance. I get preventative care ANYTIME I want. No lines. ( No cost ) I get Health and Diet advise from a dietician ( No cost ) My mother needed hip surgery last year. Surgery was scheduled 1 week after doctor told her she needed surgery ( No cost) My back hurts from moving furniture. I called my doctor yesterday and My appoiintment is tomorrow. ( No cost) Actually I can go to the doctor anytime I want. hardly ever any long waits. The most i ever waited was 1 hour at a doctors office, clinic, or any other medical facility. I'd be jelious if I was an american. God bless Canada Sorry about the typo in my question. That American Fake propoganda

  1. Why do rich Canadians come to America for treatment? I heard a doctor speak once and he was talking about a particular piece of medical diagnostic equipment. He said that Kentucky had more of them than all of Canada.
  2. I think we could develop a national healthcare system superior to yours if we wanted to. Hopefully after the next election, we'll finally want to.
  3. I'm jealous. Really. Universal health care only makes sense. I understand that France's system is even better.
  4. The majority of Americans are very ignorant of Canada's health care system. people here are not told that Canadians can opt out and buy private insurance if they want. If they opt out they'll get a bigger pay check. But if anything goes wrong with their health, they're on their own. Why am getting thumbs down? A national health care system beats a blank.
  5. Joking right? There is very little truth in any of your statements. My local hospitals are full of Canadians every winter that catch up on their doctor visits they couldn't get in Canada.
  6. Yup
  7. Just another Canadian who has been swilling the slop in Quebec.
  8. I don't know enough about Canada to be jealous of it at all. I know I would never choose to live there. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
  9. yours is good, but japans is best, even cuba has great health care, watch sicko
  10. No, America isn't. Many see universal health care for what it would truly be here in the states. Rising costs by Pharmacy companies and their gouging of the government. Bigger lines. Lower quality of care. Higher taxes. This all equates to Socialism and goes against the ideals of a Free Enterprise.
  11. ya good for you, i keep more of my paycheck than you do. i know you like to pretend all that is free, but you pay for it. paying for it in taxes as opposed to paying for insurance does not mean no cost. the only thing im jealous of canada for is beautiful country side, awesome strip clubs, and allowing 18 -20 year old girls into bars.
  12. This would explain why cannucks who have any money come to America for their care Trust me there is not one thing up there that I'm envious of and if you go more than 50 miles of our border there is no one You have just proved how silly you are SOMEONE had to pay the costs or did we Americans pay it for you?
  13. Where do you live? I have heard otherwise. How do I know that you are not making all of that up?
  14. This is the very first positive experience I've heard about Canada's universal health care. I'm going to do some research on it now. Thank you for sharing.
  15. Must be a great system. I wonder why there are so many canadians comming across the border and paying to see american physicians? They must be encountering some problem that you have not.
  16. We have some of the best medical professionals in the world. We are also responsible for the majority of the current medical advances. People travel from all over the world to be treated by our medical professionals, most coming from nations with some sort of universal health plan, including Canadians. Some people feel that a universal health care system would be trading that superior system for one that is just adequate care for the masses. The worlds medical advances would also suffer, it would be better to work on the 45 million Americans who do not have health coverage instead. Free health care doesn't mean better health care.
  17. yep, im jealous. i pay out of the ass for health insurance and with the problems my family face it becomes a serious burden.
  18. I'm not jealous of Canada and it's maple syrup chugging, aboot saying, mayonaise loving, tim horton's eating citizens. I could care less about what the Canadians decide should be their national policy, I live in the U.S..
  19. I was attached to the RCAF . What they told me about socialized medicine was not as favorable as what you are saying. I spent time at pagwa river in ontario. There were no doctors within miles of there and the indians had lots of health problems.
  20. lmao, "Canada is just a loft apt that is over a really kick azz party" jelious eh?
  21. nobody is jealous of canadians! You people don't even know how to make real bacon! Closet commies, McCain will put you in your place!
  22. I'm a Canadian and here's my answer. Yes, we have a great health care system, but not the best in the world. Check out France, Japan, Sweden, Belgium, Switzerland. Much better. The US is not jealous, but perhaps envious. I truly hope that one day every American receives universal health care. It is a human right.
  23. Yes we are jealous. But you have to understand that Americans basically do not want the healthcare system of Canada or of France. Even though it would be good. Most Americans who would love to see such universal healthcare also very much don't want to sacrifice half or even more than half of our entire inventive medical-industry to get it. Much of our population is not included in the kind of care the industry here makes possible, but more of us participate in the economy of it; we still like having our economy here create a lot of it. (We don't all Recieve the care, but much of America nonetheless still take pride in Giving it to the wealthy here and in the world. -And sometimes a charity will foot the bill to have an American doctor or technology make some sick kid healthy who cannot afford it.) We will have to back off from being the country that provides so much of the new medicine to the world (economic reality will force us to), but we still want to provide a lot of it (the new stuff). Hillary is dishonestly pretending that she will be able to give us your healthcare system. (She is more than content presenting things deceptively enough that people who support her actually feel that this is what they're getting when they support her. Obama used the unfortunate innacurate term "universal" this past week, but he has consistently been up front that he understands Americans want better access and less corruption without dumping so much of what so many Americans love our medical industry being able to produce, to invent. This means not universal. But begin with transparency, force dialogue, insist on bringing costs down and access to much of what's available to 100%, especially beginning with all children. Some people here will be able to afford coverage but will still not buy any. Obama will not tax them a penalty for doing that. There are other remedies that he will pursue to prevent that abuse by people who just wait for an emergency to pay what they can otherwise afford.
  24. Some are. Most however confuse health wants with health needs. The US spends more on healthcare per person than any other country in the world. It has the highest child death rates of any western country. Kids die in the USA that would have had a better chance of life if born in Canada. Trust me, those dead kids are jealous as they look down upon us, they wish they had been born Canadian.
