This is interesting...... 2008 PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE COMPARISON TALKING POINTS ISSUE JOHN McCAIN BARAK OBAMA Favors new drilling offshore US Yes No Will appoint judges who interpret the law not make it Yes No Served in the US Armed Forces Yes No Amount of time served in the US Senate 22 YEARS 173 DAYS Will institute a socialized national health care plan No Yes Supports abortion throughout the pregnancy No Yes Would pull troops out of Iraq immediately No Yes Supports gun ownership rights Yes No Supports homosexual marriage No Yes Proposed programs will mean a huge tax increase No Yes Voted against making English the official language No Yes Voted to give Social Security benefits to illegals No Yes CAPITAL GAINS TAX MCCAIN 0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples). McCain does not propose any change in existing home sales income tax. OBAMA 28% on profit from ALL home sales. (How does this affect you? If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes. If you are heading toward retirement and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community, 28% of the money you make from your home will go to taxes. This proposal will adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their homes as part of their retirement income.) DIVIDEND TAX MCCAIN 15% (no change) OBAMA 39.6% - (How will this affect you? If you have any money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds, college funds, life insurance, retirement accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends, you will now be paying nearly 40% of the money earned on taxes if Obama becomes president. The experts predict that 'Higher tax rates on dividends and capital gains would crash the stock market, yet do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.') 1. Obama!!!!!!!!!!! (Im sorry I didnt read all that you got up there, I was getting lost in a blizzard of words) Its FUNNY how McCain supporters are "all about the facts" when the facts are in favor of McCain but dont give a crap about them otherwise.....golly, such double standards...Obama's our next president desperate losers, get over it.
  2. / Excellent! McCain/Palin '08
  3. This obviously shows who the right candidate is, but the Obama fans do not look at facts! There is no reasoning with them!
  4. McCain
  5. Obama
  6. interesting. I think the facts speak for themselves
  7. bottom line - Barry is wrong for this country and no matter how much the Barry supporters say he will cut taxes, he can't. With all the social programs and billions going to every "Tom, Dick and Mary" he can't cut taxes. I heard today he's wanting billions to go for global education programs? What about OUR KIDS? 47 million to get free health care? Nothing is fee and most of those 47 million CHOOSE not to get coverage or they are illegal! GEEZE, what a dweeb! He's spending OUR MONEY!
  8. It's funny how the first person yelled out 'OBAMA!!!!" without even reading your post first.
  9. do not listen to anyone who tells you who to vote for.... looks like you did your research, so vote for who you want.... it doesnt' matter about the facts, because no matter what you put on here, people are still going to stick up for their candidate......
  10. You are brilliant. The numbers speak for themselves. Thank you!
  11. Nice Try. maybe you should've been that Critical about Bush these last 8 years instead of Blaming Clinton and Looking for Natalee Holloway..I personally am not going for anything coming out of the criminal GOP...even though Obama ain't that great...I can still blame Bush for his shortcomings (just like you blame Clinton for Bush's)
  12. OBAMA '08!!
  13. As you can see the ONLY one voting Obama didn't even READ this, This is very important information that the American people need to Read, And yet we still have stupid people that will still Vote Obama? And I ask why The sources are there just do your research.
  14. I appreciate you posting these facts on your question, but it seems you have already made up your mind. Although it's one of the toughest things to do, i try to keep an open mind in big elections and although i am liberal, I think john mccain is a good man. unfortunately, it seems as though the republicans focus on keeping their wealth so much, that they despise taxes that help others and help our nation. However, even though this post gives us far more answers than questions, i appreciate the facts behind your argument instead of blind loyalty.
  15. I will NEVER vote for this racist socialist! McCain isn't great but he's all we got
