Can I get a complete Health check up at a hospital, I'm 68 would like to find if I have any health proablems.?

I would like to find out if I have any health problem's that I must address. I'm 68 Male with a good health record. My father passed away with a heart attack when he was 58. I'm on Medicare and I have a AARP as a supplement Insurance.

1. You will need to go to a doctor first. He will order a complete physical for you. I don't think you can just walk into a hospital for a checkup without orders from your doctor.
2. Ask your personal physician to run a complete health exam on you. He will admit you to the hospital for this. Medicare and your supplement should cover this. Read your Medicare booklet. I believer there are provisions for this. Glad you are healthy.
3. Can you run around the block without trouble ? no chest pains ? If so don't worry about it . but check your blood sugar .
4. you can go to your doctor for a health check if you have any problems found in your check up your doctor will write to the right department and ask for them to see you do not go the hospital as this is only used for accidents and people really ill the hospital is really busy this time of year l hope this is helpful to you
