  1. If I get to see you at your best, why not?
  2. NO I DON'T WANT TO GO TO A MALL SO THEY'LL TREAT ME LIKE THAT
  3. A lot of things can't be seen in a scan so they might give people a false sense of security. Also they open the door to a fast-good mentality in health care where people thing they can get everything diagnosed and fixed between shopping trips. The only thing they're really good for is making money of hypochondriacs.
  4. What's wrong with them? You go in there to get a scan, you can give the results to your doctor who can find any possible abnormalities and what they might mean. If it's affordable then it can be a useful adjunct to other diagnostic tests. I don't know just how useful they are so I'd hold off on the insurance coverage until I know more or there's concrete data showing they actually can identify the early stages of a disease process. They probably aren't an alternative to an annual physical but many people in our country don't get them or can't afford them, so... oh well that's my two cents. I never heard of them until you just mentioned it.
