Good insurance company for HYPP N/H horse?

My horse has HYPP, but he is N/H and has NEVER had an episode and he's 8 years old. I want Major Medical coverage such as colic surgery or other major medical care.I know that insurance companies are tough on HYPP positive horses, but I didn't know if anyone had any good Equine Insurance Companies. Any companies will help. Thank you.

1. Most insurance companies will not insure a HYPP positive horse because its considered high risk. If you do find one that will insure it, you will have high premiums. The insurance company that I use for all my horses is www.livestockinsurance.biz and I am very happy with them.
2. The company that I use is Horse Insurance Specialists, and they will cover an N/H horse, not sure of the premium amount though, but worth a try. There are several others that will cover an N/H horse such as Kaplow Insurance, Markel and probably some others. A few years ago they were much harder on an HYPP horse than they are now, but I think the premiums are probably still higher than a non HYPP status horse. Will probably just have to go insurance shopping for the best options, anyway gives you a place to start. I have included the link for Horse Insurance Specialists below.
