Mom told me I can get a dental plan for $20/month. Seriously? Where can I find a $20/month dental insurance?
I don't think she knows what she's talking about. I thought the lowest was like $200/month. I'm from Kansas, so states may have something to do with what dental insurance is available. So, how would I be eligible for the cheapest dental insurance? Merlou, what about BRACES?

- The good thing about dental insurance is that you can get it quite cheep. My dental is about 20.00 a month and is very practical. I just had a tooth extracted for about $15.00 out of pocket. Of course the actual procedure was about $150.00. My (and most dental plans) cover you 100% for routine visits (exam, x-rays,) 90% for most routine dental work such as fillings and extractions, and about 80-85% for more expensive procedures such as dentures and bridges. You can almost always get this coverage from your employer and have the monthly payments removed automatically from your paycheck. Also, if you don't work or coverage is not offered by your employer, just try using a search engine. I goggled "Kansas Dental Insurance" and got at least 3 or 4 good sites. Just make sure you read the fine print such as having to see a dentist who is on your plan, not the one you grew up seeing down the street.
- Check this http://www.cheapinsurancetoday.com/dentalplans.html It says dental plan cost from $79.95/year
