What is the lowest price ever paid for braces?

My teeth are not that bad; I doubt that I need them for more than 6 months; I live in Virginia; I have Aetna Dental Insurance....Can anyone give me an estimate based on all that info...Please be specific to my scenario....I'm not interested in a general estimate..Thank You

2. Dude it doesn't matter how messed up they look. They could be almost perfect and it could still take a lot of work to make them actually perfect. you have to get a real estimate.

5. You can probably go to a university where they teach dentistry and orthodontics and get it done for very little. Only thing is it might take longer and they put you in headgear so they can practice and learn from your mouth. They won't hurt you though. (yes agreed with Mags you will get excellent treatment guaranteed as long as you do everything you are supposed to)
6. I had my treatment done at a university where I was attending. you will get great treatment there for orthodontics and it will be much cheaper than private practice. However you need to have the time to spend at the clinics as professional students are working with you in conjunction with a licensed orthodontist in making sure you get the right treatment. I think it is worth it. As for insurance and each insurance varies...I know most cover something if you are 18 years old or younger.
