Does my babies father have to reimburse medicaid?????

If Texas Child Support Services are going to terminate my daughters medicaid, and her father has to pay for humana health insurance, does he still have to reimburse medicaid? I was told that if my child is on medicaid, I have to give the fathers imformation to Texas child support. I am not going to pursue child support. One of the case workers from Texas child support said," If I do not pursue it, then I will lose my medicaid benafits and my babys father is going to have to reimburse medicaid." Is that true?

1. You may be a little confused. The Child Support Enforcement Division of the Texas Office of the Attorney General does not determine eligibility for public assistance benefits. It may be that you are no longer qualified for Medicaid. Check with your case worker at HHSC. Read the child support order to determine what the father is required to pay or to reimburse.
