How much does it cost for the removal of wisdom teeth and no dental insurance?

I have 3 wisdom teeth that are through the gums and 1 that is still impacted. I have no dental insurance, and no part of my medical insurance covers any part of this procedure. I was wondering if anyone knew the approximate cost?

1. Around $1500. You usually need to pay half up front, and then you can make payments. There is an alternative, though. If you go to a dental college and let a student remove them, which could cost you only a couple hundred.

3. We had really good dental insurance, and it still didn't cover the cost of my wisdom teeth removal. I had two that were impacted and two that were broken from the surface. I think it cost a little over 1300. You only really don't need to get rid of the wisdom teeth unless they are causing you trouble. But i would try the dental school for a lot cheaper.
