how can i fix bad breath?

ok i went to the dentist and i need certain things done. Scaling, root canal, crown. and braces. see my teeth arent straight so its harder for me to clean properly. and out of 2325 insurance only covers 490. and i cant switch dental plans(cigna dhmo) until 2008. is there anything specific i can be done to fix this problem. maybe just a cleaning. i need to do something to fix my relationship. mints and mouthwash dont help

listerine mouth waste...that stuff kills everything. While it is in your month use yur toothbrush to scrub your gums
first/talk to your family dr about problem/make sure it is a dental issue and not a health issue /good luck
you're positive it's your teeth causing bad breath?? seems like i read somewhere about how your stomach and digestive system could be a cause for bad breath also. Maybe check that too... other then that, just carry those little listerine mint sprays
Well, I don't know if this is the best way, but it helps a bit. Eat lots of strongly flavoured green leaves, like the ones you use in salads, like parsley. If that doesn't work, you might want to try some other options.
I read somewhere that if you take Parsley pills (bought at a heatlh food store), that will help your bad breath.

O.K. There are lots of things you can do. 1.buy a waterpick 2. buy the softest bristle toothbrush you can find, or get a sensonic electric toothbrush. 3 get a good mouthwash (crest Pro-Health is good) 4 buy a large bottle of 10% (medicinal) hydrogen peroxide. 5 floss (sorry but you have to) Brush your teeth correctly, up and down (not sideways) count to 15 on each tooth..don't skip any. and brush at least twice a day morning and evenings...better if you do it 3. use the water pick after you brush, make sure you go between every tooth. Floss afterwards. If your gums are sore, do a final rinse with 1/2 warm water 1/2 10% hydrogen peroxide.You will start to see improvement after about 2 weeks..your gums should not bleed after this time.
