I am a single mother looking for Health Insurance?
Hello all! I am a single mother looking for health insurance in Florida. I am self-employed. It is quite overwhelming to look for health insurance on the internet as there are literally thousand of websites selling and claiming they offer affordable or best priced health insurance. Where to go? who to choose? I have been on the phone talking to agents for the last two weeks and have not made up my mind. Should I trust that I will be getting what they offer? So maybe someone in Florida can tell me if the three websites I am looking at the moment (which they had best customer service) are a good choice, which one is the best? Maybe someone else purchased health insurance from them and can tell me which one I should go with. http://www.healthinsurancesearch.com http://www.oxoniainsurance.com http://www.vitalonehealth.com Please if someone got health insurance in Florida help me decide who should I go with! Thanks

- Are you looking at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, http://www.bcbsfl.com/. Give them a call, or check out their plans and prices on their website. I've represented Blue Cross of Arizona for many years, and I'm sure you'll be pleased with the customer service in your state, as well as the plan benefits and price.

- Do not try to do this over the internet. It'll take forever to intelligently compare the thousands of plans available. Also, if you have any pre-existing conditions that might add a rider to the policy or cause you to be declined or if you are out of the height and weight guidelines you won't know until you've applied and gone through the underwriting process. You've already been talking with agents. Pick a local agent that works with all the major companies. Go visit them; it's much easier to see the plans in person than it is over the phone and it'll be much easier to pick a plan that works for you. Be sure to get all of your questions answered prior to signing up. The agent will also be a local go to person to answer questions you have during and after the application process. It's nicer to speak with the same person that knows you when you call instead of whoever answers the phone.
- Health insurance companies are a rip off. Why pay $600 for a what if factor? Then when you do use the insurance it doesn't cover anything. All insurance companies do is take your money and put it in a savings account and pull from it when people need it. Why can't you take on Consumer Driven Health care and open up your own health savings account. You'll save more money. Our total health plus plan is $59.95/mo. Check it out
- here you'll find a much wider choice of insurers than the ones you have mentioned http://4ym8.com/CompareInsurance.html after filling the form, if the cheapest one is cheaper than the one you had in mind then you might want to consider it.
- I buy my non-toxic household products from a great Inc 500 company and I also get my health insurance through them as well. They are even paying for 80% of my baby's birth. It's better than having nothing. Email me and I will give you more details. Jennifer
- Searching online can be overwhelming! Why not talk to an insurance broker? A broker works with several health insurance companies, and can find the best deal for you. There is no charge for the service and no obligation to buy. To find one in your area, log on to a website like http://www.healthinsurancewiz.com and fill out a form requesting a free quote. Your info will be sent to an insurance broker in your area who has paid for the privilege of talking to you. Good luck!
