What dental insurance should I get?

I live in California and need dental insurance that will cover oral surgery due to the fact that I need my wisdom teeth taken out. It also needs to cover braces. Insurance with Delta Dental ran out. No answers regarding dental discount plans please. I just need insurance.

1. call the oral surgeon that you want to go to and see what insurance plans they accept and which is the best.
2. Will dental insurance cover pre-existing conditions? I remember being told by an AFLAC representative that there was a 6 to 12-month wait (can't recall which) from policy inception for certain procedures being given their full coverage rate.
