What is the cheapest way to get individual medical insurance? I need to find insurance for a young adult who has had medical issues, but does not have coverage in her current job. Blue Cross wants $18,000 a year. There has got to be something out there that is designed to cover private individuals that a person can afford: I know it won't be cheap, but there should be something do-able.
Buying individual medical insurance? How much money does it cost to buy and indiviual medical insurance policy? I live in the state of New Jersey. Which is the best medical insurance policy for individual? I am living in Mysore (India) and I want to take a medical (health) insurance policy for myself for 5 lakh coverage. Individual Medical Insurance - What Gives Here? I applied for med insurance through Humana One - they were going to require I get a physical before telling me if I was approved or whatever - and they have their own exam requirements - a paramed group called Exam One that comes to your house because they do not have facilities in Ohio. Or I was told I could have them come to my job. This is to draw blood and take a piss test, mind you. Told me the new trend is to require exams. I think I can find something without all this hoopla and I am not into needles to begin with so no desire to get stuck 10 times to decide what provider I want. The Exam One thing is legit - I checked it out and they do not have facilities in Ohio so why make people do this crap? More insurance scam bullshit, if you ask me. Exam One of course is a private company. I was told no biggie coming to your house - RN's are bonded and insured, can come anytime around your schedule. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS? Where can I go for decent coverage without all this hassle?
individual medical insurance plans? I am getting ready to go into a contracting position and there is no medical insurance provided meaning I will have to supply the insurance for my family. Does anyone do this, and is the insurance deductible on the taxes? I am living in Indiana and the plan would cover 4 members including myself.
Financial assistance for medical bills when the individual has no insurance? My boyfriend is 19 years old. He works at a facility that doesn't offer medical insurance and had never gotten around to getting any elsewhere. He was recently hospitalized with appendicitis and ended up having his appendix removed in an emergency surgery. The bills that he has received from this procedure and his stay at the hospital total over $10k. Could someone please tell me if there is a program or service I could look into that might be able to help him?
Need help selecting my individual medical/health insurance? Now let me start by saying that I am a single man at the age of 18. I am starting therapy soon and I need individual medical insurance to pay for the sessions and any possible prescriptions that might be prescribed. But when I try and search online I just don't understand all the info provided. Where can I find affordable insurance (im hoping about $50-$80 a month) that covers me for everything therapy and prescriptions, quick to get, and are easily understandable(if there is). If there are no simple stated insurance company's can someone tell me what I must make sure to have on the plan and what they mean? Look, you guys don't understand just how necessary it is that I find a way to pay for my therapy. Without it, I have spent the last year in severe depression and the school therapist say that I REALLY need help but she can't provide it and I need to attend a professional clinic. So PLEASE, quit trying to just point out the wrong in a negative manner and just kindly answer my question please. Also, my parents cannot be notified of my therapy. You have no idea how they would react and trust me, it would not be pretty. they don't even have medical so it wouldn't matter on that anyway
Question about carrying two Major Medical Insurance policies on 1 individual? My wife and I are having a kid and we both have HMOs from our individual employers. We both have high deductibles and ultimately similar coverage. A friend (who isn't in the insurance business) recommended we double insure our new born son when he arrives just to insure he is covered should he have health issues. Is this legal and does it make sense to do it?
Looking for AFFORDABLE individual medical insurance plan? Is there anyone one here from Minnesota who can recommend a decent relatively inexpensive family medical insurance plan? 2 adults and 3 children. They can't afford 800 bucks a month for a plan with a 5000 buck deductible or 700 for a 7000 deductible. He makes too much for medical assistance or Minnesota Care or Medicaid...just a little too much, and he isn't eligible for medical coverage through his employer. Please help!!!! Anyone ever hear of Land's Health??? OK...based on the first reply...forget about Land's Health. I know you get what you pay for, but there must be something decent for less than those amounts I mentioned in the first part of my post. Like for many other people, this will make the difference in having enough groceries and paying their car insurance and having gas to go to work. They live in a rural area and it is about 25 miles to work. Main concern is coverage for office visits and ER visits and some prescription coverage...at least for the kids. This is my son's family I am talking about. He isn't eligible yet for his employer's group health program..won't be until the end of the year, and then the montly premiums for the family plan will be over 800 for his part. The county social services worker they have said there's nothing she can do. My grandson has some health issues that make him "high risk", so I don't know if anyone will insure him. My daughter-in-law doesn't know all the ins and outs of dealing with these people...and I don't know a lot either. I called the agent I have my Medicare supplement with and she gave me the family medical plan rates i quoted in the first paragraph of my post. No free clinics around here.
I am an individual and want to have an medical insurance? My employer has a group insurance but its not that good and its expensive too. I want to have a good medical coverage, but since I am individual I might not get a good deal. Is there any group I can join so I can have a good rates. I am in Lansing, MI
What is the best global/international medical insurance? Hi. What is the most comprehensive individual-policy medical insurance that includes prescription drug coverage? I want to teach English in China someday and it depresses me that I won't be able to retain my job's medical insurance for USA coverage. I'd have to purchase my own. I'm afraid that I might get a plan that won't cover important things if I get sick. Posting this under China as I know there are lots of expatriats on this part of Y/A.... PS. I understand that many schools will provide some sort of insurance in China; my main concern is coverage should I wish to obtain medical treatment back in the USA.... Thanks. Again, my concern is NOT gettting treatment in CHINA but retaining the option of getting treatment in the USA if I choose to...
Need a group for medical insurance? Employer offers very skimpy medical insurance. Individual (i.e., non-group) insurance is very expensive. I have heard that groups have been formed so that members will qualify for group rates. Please tell which groups these are, and what you know about them. Many thanks.
Individual Health Insurance Plans - Medical history not perfect? anyone know of any affordable insurance plans out there...health insurance, preferably with a deductable only on ER and Hospitalization costs.... and initial "co-pay only" on visits and such...Rx.... my medical history isn't the best, but no major health issues...just some past med. history that could make it difficult for me to be insurred.
medical insurance? Hello all, Is it good to go for a individual medical insurance even if your company provides one already ? thoughts appreciated.
How can I "prove" that I purchased medical insurance in order to write it off? I itemize and writing off a portion of the $6k I paid in insurance premiums would help. I am self-employed and, because decent individual health insurance is nearly extinct, I got my insurance through my domestic partner's employer. How can I "prove" that I paid for this health insurance? Do I need to have a $6k check written to my domestic partner that says "for health insurance" on it or am I pretty much screwed? (Which I've been learning is fairly typical for self-employed persons.)
Does individual health insurance qualify for tax deduction? I am employed, however i am paying my own personal health insurance instead of opting for the group insurance which my employer has since it worked out to be cheaper than group insurance. Now when i am filing my taxes can i claim medical insurance premium as tax deductible.
A health economist established a study to assess utilization of emergency medical care and health insurance.? A health economist established a study to assess utilization of emergency medical care and health insurance. These data have been compiled: 4% of all adults have utilized emergency medical care in the last 12 months. For the pool of patients who utilized emergency care, 80% had health insurance. While for a random sample of persons who never utilized emergency medical care, 50% had health insurance. An adult, selected to be a participant in this study, has medical insurance. What is the probability this individual will utilize emergency medical care in the next 12 months?
In America, what happens if you need urgent medical treatment and don't have insurance? If you don't have medical insurance and you are—for example— involved in a serious car accident and require extensive, major surgery, what happens? Surely, a Doctor under Hippocratic Oath cannot refuse treatment. Yet, what if the individual clearly has no money or insurance and the treatment costs many thousands of dollars to save his or her life. I'm just curious (I don't live in America obviously). Thanks.
Why Did All New Individual Children's Health Insurance Policies Suddenly Become Extinct? Since Obamacare, you cannot buy an individual children's major medical insurance (health) policy from any major health insurance company. They disappeared overnight and become extinct, shortly after passage of Obamacare. Just try to find one. I have and you won't. Sure, you can get a family plan, but not if a parent has pre-existing conditions. Previously available for many decades at reasonable prices, the individual major medical policy for children was a bargain. Just a year ago, a new policy for a child could be bought for about $60 a month. Now, it's unavailable at any price. Why did ObamaCare make individual health insurance policies for kids go away, overnight?
What is a self-employed health insurance deduction (line 29 form 1040)? I am self-employed, had a net profit in 2011 and filing Schedule C-EZ. Currently I am a recipient of Healthy New York medical insurance individual plan. May I deduct the premium paid in 2011 for this plan and include paid amount in line 29 of Form 1040? If yes, what document should be attached to my Income Tax Return?
Global medical insurance? What is the best global/international medical insurance? Question Details: Hi. What is the most comprehensive individual-policy medical insurance that includes prescription drug coverage? I want to teach English in China someday and it depresses me that I won't be able to retain my job's medical insurance for USA coverage. I'd have to purchase my own. I'm afraid that I might get a plan that won't cover important things if I get sick and want to travel back to USA for treatment..
What will a major medical issue do to my insurance premiums? My doctor and I have been discussing a medication for a chronic illness that I have that will cost $20,000 a year. I have an individual insurance plan because the place I work is small and doesn't have a group plan. What will this do to my premiums? I mean will my monthly insurance rates go up substantially?
How do insurance providers know about your medical history? Attempted to purchase individual health insurance; but after reviewing my application they made a counteroffer because my claims history shows that I have a medical condition. How did they know this information? And is it fair that they have raised my insurance coverage offer because of this?
Good individual insurance? My job doesn't provide insurance because it's technically not full time. I absolutely cannot be without medical insurance because I deal with things like depression, asthma, allergies, and back and neck pain from an accident (I need an insurance with very good prescription drug coverage, chiropractic care coverage, and mental health coverage-like therapy/psychiatrists). Needless to say I can't afford to NOT have insurance. I'm also overweight, so it's very hard to find affordable insurance for myself. Since February, I have been on individual insurance with CHAND, a high risk insurance division of Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota. The insurance is pretty good, but I pay $260/month, which is way out of my budget. My question is this: are there any good and inexpensive insurances out there for me? I'm trying to save money for a second bachelor's degree (college) and a wedding. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance- I deeply appreciate it! Finding a different job that offers insurance is not an option. I love my job to death (and it pays fairly well), and it is in my chosen field of study.
Why can't we add a fee to lottery tickets nationwide to cover medical insurance? A simple solution is to add a $1.00 charge to all lottery tickets sold nationwide. Most of the individuals that purchase lottery tickets either have the money to buy the ticket and are well off, or do not have any money nor insurance. This charge could be used to pay for medical expenses in each state where the lottery tickets were purchased to cover hospital/doctor costs for those without insurance.
Individual health insurance, for emergency only.? Does anyone have experience buying their medical insurance through the individual packages? Thankfully I haven't had the need to go to the doctors in a few years, I think the health rates through my employer are way too expensive for an individual and was going to opt-out this year. However I'm told from everyone "you need insurance in case of an accident" which makes sense as you don't want to have to pay 150K for a hospital stay. Do insurance companies offer packages for emergency visits only? I don't need to see a doctor every year, I don't have to have drugs, I just need it for the emergencies everyone talks about. Anyone in this boat?
I am being double-paid by medical insurance and can't fix it. Am I handling this properly? [COMPLEX]? Okay, through no fault of my own, I am being double-paid by two insurance companies for medical claims. The main goal is to make sure they can't/won't charge me with insurance fraud and/or pull coverage because of this situation. The situation: - I have a child with Autism. - Child gets behavioral therapy with an out-of-network provider that does not do billing, so I bill insurance myself. - Behavioral therapy costs roughly $2k/wk, or $80-90k/year - Child is covered by my employer's insurance policy, which is not legally obligated to pay the claims (their contract excludes behavioral therapy, and they are not bound by state law that they have to cover it) - Child has second individual insurance policy, in his name, that is required to cover therapy by Indiana state mandate. - After talking to both insurance companies, both state they are the primary insurer. Both are aware of the other company, and I have informed each that the other thinks it is primary. (no fraud) - I submit claims weekly to both insurance companies. - The individual policy pays me consistently, per the Indiana mandate. - The employer's policy pays me intermittently, sometimes stating mental health visit limits not to pay, sometimes not doing so. Legally, I'm pretty sure they do not have to pay. When they do pay, it's a double-pay, since the individual policy also pays. - I cannot cancel the individual plan, because the employer plan is inconsisten and may come to it's senses and not pay/ask for their money back. - I have to submit claims to the group plan, because if the individual decides it's secondary, I will need EOBs from the primary. My resolution: - I use the individual plan checks to pay for therapy. - I save the group plan checks in an interest-bearing savings account devoted solely to that purpose, and don't touch the money. - If employer plan asks for their money back, I have it. - If either plan decides it is secondary, I have back EOBs and money to pay for any/all double-payments.
Facts only please: where is the money coming from to pay for everyone's medical insurance? Would it be possible for the government to only pay for preventative treatments from Medical Providers of choice, and not within a specific limited choice of medical providers; or, would it be feasible for the Government to pay for only the services that private insurance would not cover. With a Government controlled medical insurance systems; would this put medical insurance companies out of business? How would this proposition effect the economy long term; and if this can be implemented while maintaining Patient Rights, and individual decision making--where is the money coming from? and how much will this cost taxpayers per person, per year? Where are the figures?
How can I get a major medical insurance if I have high blood pressure? I recently turned 25 and I was dropped from my father's coverage at his job. However, the last time I went and saw a doctor about 6 months ago I had elevated blood pressure. So when I tried to get individual medical insurance I was turned down for elevated blood pressure. I am not against taking medication for this condition, and I was prescribed a medication when I last saw the doctor. However, I had some serious side-effects that I could not live with, but when I communicated this with my doctor he was not receptive in the least. I would like to get a second opinion on this matter, but at the moment I am not covered. Does anyone know of a major medical health insurance company that is more likely to accept someone as young as me with high blood pressure?
Medical Insurance for GC holders? Can anyone tell me whether a green card holder entitles for a a free medical treatment so that there is no need for a separate medical insurance by the individual. I have received my EAD card. In how many months/weeks can I expect my Green card?
Why can't we get medical insurance? My husband (age 32) cannot get an individual insurance policy because he is soon to be on medicare. Is this true? Yes, I am sure he is going on Medicare, due to a disability.
Does having temporary medical insurance plan affect your Individual coverage applicaiton? Hi, I was on cobra so far but my former employer terminated whole group plan so I am out of Insurance now. In future I plan to apply for Individual coverage but I have been rejected because of precondition. I know things can't be changed now but just want to know is it ok if I stayed without Insurance for a month of December of should I take temporary coverage. I am not going to get sick but just want to know if taking temporary coverage or not having gap in medical Insurance, will it help in future to get individual coverage? Have you taken temporary coverage before or got individual coverage with precondition? Thank you
Help!! My mom needs help.. What are the options for medical insurance for an individual with cancer? I need some serious advice.. My mom recently grew a painful lump on her leg. I don't want to get into the details of it, but it might possibly be a cancerous tumor. We do not have health insurance, my mom was actually working trying to get promoted so she could get the insurance from work for herself and me and my brother, but now that my mom is weak, it will not be an option for her anymore. The problem is that she owns properties that are in danger of foreclosure. They are our only source of income and not even a stable source, and my mom is not willing to give them up. I'm really lost here.. I want to help my mom and she's worked so hard to get to where we are and I just want her to have some peace of mind. She needs proper health care. Does anyone have advice on where I can get help for her? I can see a difference in her weight and life at home just isn't the same anymore. Does anyone have any advice? A side note--we live in California. I already lost my dad to cancer two years ago. It was really painful and I still miss him a lot and I don't want the same to happen to my mom. Please help, any advice is much appreciated.. Thank you all for your advice. I really really appreciate it. I will speak to a social worker at my local hospital and try to apply for Medicare or something along the lines of that. Anything that will give her some medical attention. Again, thank you..
Anyone know of an affordable individual health/dental insurance plan for Brooklyn, NY? I no longer have school insurance and my work does not offer insurance. I am looking for an affordable health/dental insurance plan in Brooklyn, New York. Is dental included in medical insurance or is that separate? I don't want to spend $600-$1000 on a premium for an HMO, but would rather spend a few hundred a month while getting a decent amount of benefits. Also, does anyone know of a comparison chart online regarding details of insurance providers including premiums and benefits. All I can find are complaint comparison charts for insurance providers. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Can my employer cancel my medical insurance if i am currently being treated for a diagnosed medical condition? i am being treated for a medical condition and my employer has chosen to put me back to part time (for missing too much work due to the medical condition) and cancel my medical insurance. does my insurance company have to cover me until the condition is resolved since it would be a pre-existing condition to a new insurance company (say i try to get an individual policy) or can they cancel me and force me to take cobra to cover treatment on my medical condition
How can my aunt get medical insurance? She's already beent denied by one plan for having pre-existing conditions and prior hospital admissions. She is a diabetic, works p/t x2 and has a substantial amount of $ in her savings (which makes her ineligible for any kind of Medicaid help). I need individual plan. Any suggestions?
Getting Individual Health Insurance For Self Employed? I had my health insurance lapse 4 years ago and have been without since. Right after my lapse I had to out of pocket a hernia surgery and I don't want to go thru that again. MY QUESTION is: If I went out and picked up an individual plan tomorrow, how long does it take for them to cover me if I am injured and need medical treatment? Be it a visit to a doctors office, a prescription, an x-ray, or a surgery. I'm not a drinker or smoker, nor do I have any current conditions.
What can freelancers do for individual health insurance? I have my own little freelance job that I do for cash. I'm not married and not a student, so I find myself without any medical or dental coverage. I'm just looking for coverage for gynological care (once per year), maybe a regular check-up (once per year), and prescription coverage if possible. And, if I'm really lucky, I'd like dental to be able to have a cleaning every 6 months. I've tried looking online but I don't know what or where most of the "insurance companies" are and if they are real or even trustworthy. I am not a registered business nor do I make loads of cash, but I do not want to go on welfare of any sort. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks!
How can I get really good medical insurance without spending $500+ per month? I'm a licensed massage therapist and I don't have any benefits because I'm kind of like an independent contractor. I took a part time job working with autistic and/or mentally retarded adults because after 3 months they give medical benefits to their part time workers. The problem is the individuals are known to sometimes be violent and I'm scared one day I'll get hurt and I won't be able to perform either job. Is it worth it to stay and take the risk? It seems impossible to find part time jobs with benefits and I don't want to stop massaging because I really love it.
When a doctor works only at a hospital, does the doctor usually have his own medical malpractice insurance? I'm happy with generalities, but if anyone has info specific to NY, that'd be helpful. I am curious really about two things: (1) Do doctors typically carry separate insurance beyond what is covered under the hospital's insurance policy? (2) Does the hospital provide a separate policy for each individual doctor or clinic, or is it one big pool for the whole hospital? I am aware of a situation in which a hospital's insurance is about to be expended, but there are ongoing claims against individual doctors.
What is a good individual health insurance? Mine sucks and I work for a hospital! I'm looking for reasonably priced, low copays and deductibles, and great medical care. Please list details. I'm probably not going to find such a fairy tale insurance, right?? I have Healthfirst/Premier. By individual, I mean separate from my employer, I'm looking for family coverage.
Question about medical insurance, anyone with knowledge please help.? I was currently turned fulltime at a CVS pharmacy where i work as a pharmacy tech, and to be able to get their insurance i have to work a minimum of 30 hours a week. However about a month and a half ago i got another job at a hospital also as a pharmacy tech, however i'm "staff relief" meaning that i don't qualify for insurance. Now, the hospital pays me A LOT more than CVS and in the past couple of weeks i've been working about 3 or 4 days in the hospital a week and 30 hours in CVS, but that's too much for me and i'm exhausted. So, my question is what is the difference if i were to go back to part time in CVS and get an individual insurance on my own and work more hours in the hospital and less in CVS (or leave them) then getting the insurance through CVS. Would it cost me more to get it without them or with them? P.S.- I may become full time in the near future at the hospital, however i do not know when that will be, could be 6 months from now, could be a year, don't know. and i'm 23 years old. I live in Florida and i have no pre-existing health issues, i am in pretty good health. I live in Florida and i have no pre-existing health issues, i am in pretty good health.
Don't you love the McCain plan to end the employer contributions to Medical Insurance? http://www.businessweek.com/bwdaily/dnflash/content/apr2008/db20080429_854428.htm The man is a genius. Individuals will be able to negotiate much better rates one at a time then a company with 1000s of insurance policies to give a contract for. People with pre existing conditions should have to pay for them themselves that will keep insurance rates low for everybody else.
Best individual health insurance plan? My husband and I just found out that his company is raising our medical insurance rates from $212 a month to $400 a month, so we are trying to shop around for the best rates. We have found some, but hardly any include maternity benefits, and we want that parachute just in case any "accidents" happen. Is there any plans out there cheaper than $400 with maternity, or should we just hope we don't get pregnant for a couple of years? (We plan to switch insurance in 2 years when I get a teaching job)
Is there anyone out there that can't afford medical insurance? Individual and anyone under the same roof. This is NOT an insurance Company. This is the largest Discount Medical Benefits Com. of its kind in the United States. Been around for 16 years. Over 2 million members on the benefits plan. If you want more info go to www.mybenefitsplus.com/JPrimerano. Then reply by email.
Individual health insurance plan? I'm trying to find an individual plan that covers all my needs. I do have a routine medical problem that requires a few prescriptions every month, it's not a big and costly issue like cancer or HIV. Should I disclose this as a preexisting medical condition if asked, will I be denied coverage if I'm honest? If I obtain the insurance after denying my condition could I be denied the care/specialty visit/meds from a very routine medical condition?
I think private individual health insurance is a fraud. Do you agree? Here is how individual insurance policies typically work: 1)Every year insurance companies create a new policy. For the next year they encourage people to sign up, then stop offering that policy to new people after one year. All of these people share the medical costs of everyone in the policy. 2) For the next half dozen years they encourage healthy people to upgrade to new policies. This leaves only the sick sharing medical expenses and the insurance premium goes up quickly. 3) A dozen years after each policy is made no one can afford the premium because everyone in the policy is sick and has major expenses. All of the ill people then lose their health insurance. 4) Now that the ill people have been filtered out from the healthy people they can't get insurance and are left to die by health insurance companies that could care less. My mother was one of the people filtered out when they sent her a sixteen thousand dollar premium bill for the year on a policy she joined over 15 years ago. She would like private insurance, but is turned down by every insurance company. She has to rely on government handouts to pay her medical costs. My opinion is the goal of health insurance is to defraud anyone who is has an illness. Do you agree?
Does individual health insurance qualify for tax deduction? I am employed, however i am paying my own personal health insurance instead of opting for the group insurance which my employer has since it worked out to be cheaper than group insurance. Now when i am filing my taxes can i claim medical insurance premium as tax deductible.
Is there a medical insurance for existing conditions? I was denied individual medical insurance earlier this year due to my ulcerative colitis. It has been almost three years since I have been diagnosed with it and it is under control with diet and supplements. The medication made me worse. I was told that I can't get an individual policy for at least five years with no symptoms, doctor visits or medications for this disease. Is there any insurance company that I can get insured with?
How can I do a fundraiser for an individual person? My brother was injured in a gasoline explosion which resulted in second-degree burns covering his face and hands. He has no medical insurance, and will not be able to work for a while because of this, and he and his girlfriend have a baby on the way. I want to do something to raise money for him, but I do not know how to do a fundraiser for an individual person, the only ones I see are by registered charitable organizations for certain groups of people. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Individual health insurance in Florida for someone with pre-existing conditions?? My husband has high cholesterol (he is only 32) but it is hereditary. He eats right and exercises but is not currently on meds to lower his cholesterol. Neither of our employers offer health insurance. He was recently denied coverage due to no current treatment for the high cholesterol. Does anyone know of a company that would cover him with a pre-existing condition and with already being denied by one company? We live in Florida. He will be starting cholesterol lowering meds soon. We really don't want a discount plan. I am not so concerned with drug coverage for him because we get the cheap Wal-Mart prescriptions, just major medical coverage. Any suggestions are welcome!
How do I throw a medical benefit for an individual? One of me best friends just got the biopsy back…not good news. She has no insurance, and the bills are already mounting, even before she was diagnosed. I want to throw a benefit for her, but don’t even know where to begin. Are the special rules and guidelines that must be followed? Or is it just do whatever. Any advice and links to helpful web sites or books would be greatly appreciated.
Medical Insurance Blue Cross Blue shield? I have Individual Blue plan 750 BlueCross Blue Shiled my service will not strat until the 1st of November (I just received the Insurance) Can I Upgrade to a better plan it costs more per month but I think it would be better for me. Will they penalize you or make you wait a certain amount of time. I think I want Plan 500 or 1000 instead of 750.
Can a qualified individual tell me, is this insurance fraud? I was hurt on the job and made a report of injury. My regular insurance covered the costs except my co-pays, and I did tell them this was a work related injury. Now the workers compensation insurance company has offered to pay all outstanding medical bills, which would be the co-pays. Would this be legal? I know all medical cost where from my work related injury and they went well over a hundred thousand dollars. This seems like fraud against my regular insurance carrier.
