Can I purchase BCBS group health insurance in the state of TEXAS? (The state of Texas part is key). My husband is self employed, the owner of a small consulting business. We will be moving to Texas very soon. Where we live currently, we have BCBS group health insurance. We would like to have BCBS Group health insurance in Texas, too, but I am not finding it. Texas Group Health Insurance, any experts? We have a prospect who works for a company which would be considered a small group. All of the employees in this group have decided to not go with the companies health care policy. Instead, most of the employees have gone with personal, individual health plans. *Texas Health Insurance Coverage Question? I am 26 years old and my health insurance stopped on my birthday (1/31). I recently just injured my knee and haven't been able to walk on it in 2 weeks. I play soccer and my assumption is that I tore my acl or mcl. Because I am not covered right now, is it possible to join an insurance co. and get coverage!? Technically its not "pre existing" because Ive done nothing about it. I would need an MRI to even see if its torn but they wont give me one without insurance. how can I get surgery done in Texas if I have no health insurance or no money? Medicaid told me I didn't qualify due to too high of income last year and the hospital told me that they would not do a gallbladder removal for me unless I paid $2,000 down. I need temporary health insurance because my mom's insurance kicked me off (I'm not a full-time student) and I'm not eligible to apply for benefits at work until the fall. I've found many good temporary health insurance plans, but they all seem to have an exclusion or limitation that says that they do not cover contraceptives or contraceptive devices. Help? I've been on Depo Provera for well over a year now. I know the side effects, and haven't really experienced any. I'm not sure how your sister got pregnant while on it, unless she didn't get the shot on time. I've used the pill, and I'm not interested in it. If that were the case, I would just go to a clinic. I was previously covered by Aetna, and that covered the shot completely. All I had to pay was a $10 copay for the doctor visit. If I don't get insurance by Friday, I'm going to have to pay $250 to get the shot and doctor visit.
