More clarification. I currently have coverage under aetna but will no longer be with my current company. Any experiences with Aetna Health Insurance? I am looking to purchase health coverage for myself, I am in good health, non smoker, not overweight, on no medications etc. no pre-existing conditions etc. Has anyone had any experiences with the Aetna PPO 7500 with Unlimited Primary Care Visits plus Dental plan? The cost seems reasonable, however I have heard horror stories about insurance companies making rates much higher once you have signed up, and then back charging their customers etc. I really can't afford to spend more then $100 a month. How can I move and have good health insurance? Im 16 and in the suckiest situation ever. my dad is a disabled veteran with federal aetna health insurance. i'm only covered to change my primary care provider to nashville at the farthest (currently living near memphis). i want to move to PA with family for an extended time. my mom can't cover my health insurance because i'm staying under my father's custody. even if i moved i would stay under his primary cutsody. he doesnt want to get me my own plan because he doesn't want to go bankrupt i if something serious happens (im healthy and i hardly go to the doctor so thats the only worry). uhm, i can't be emancipated so am i pretty much stuck living with my dad? i feel i have no options. any ideas?

what does it mean when a health insurance provider classifies you a risk c? I applied for Aetna insurance and under classification status they classified me as a category c. What does this mean. I do have a pre-existing condition. Is that what it is? And is C the lowest you can be?

health insurance question...i have aetna? okay, i gave birth to my 2nd child on july 10th. our insurance company which is aetna is refusing to pay. the funny thing is, they stopped paying in june using the term "exhaustion of benefits". my sons doctors office wont even see him because aetna is refusing to pay. is anyone familiar with this? yes, my husband adding him on the day he was born. im going to try to look online at our policy. there is no limit listed in our papers. i contacted aetna when i found out i was pregnant just to make sure that our benefits were good enough and at that time they were. thats why i am confused with this. human resources through my husband job is in the process of getting to the bottom of this. im not really concerned with myself but the fact that my 2 1/2 month old son is being refused care and im scared on if an emergency were to happen for my daughter and/or my husband. and also, what exactly is coinsurance?

What Health Insurance can a part time student get? So my Aetna coverage will end next week on my 22nd birthday. Since I'm not a full time student (only part time) I won't be covered till I'm 23. Any way around not being full time student- Health Insurance problem? I have been going to a community college and need to finish up next fall semester so I have 3 classes so far. The deal the community colleges have with transferring to other schools (in nj anyways) is that once you graduate with the courses indicated by your major, the credits will definitely transfer to (all nj state schools for example) and only about 60 or 70 needed for your major will transfer, not any extra classes. Anyways I only have 3 that I need. With my dads health insurance, Aetna, I need to be a full time student in order to stay on his plan. What can I do to get around this? Is my only option to take extra classes that I don't need to fill up? OH also--- Do you think I should maybe re-take a class I didn't do well in? Would that be a good idea or kind of a waste Full time is 12 credits Its about $300 a class, give or take. Health Insurance premium raised $160 this year Is this Allowed? I have a family health insurance plan with Aetna. The first year we had it it was $545 a month the next year it raised to $606 a month which we were not happy about but seemed $60 was not that much of a raise, now this year they just informed us that our plan will go from $606 a month to $765 a month, This sounds like robbery to me! What health insurance plan to choose (I am student)? Hi. I am full-time student who goes to major university at Chicago (DEPAUL). Should I get Aetna IL Preventitive and Hospitalization plan for $48 per month ($1250 deductible, coin 20%, coin max $2500) or IL 5000 ($5000 deductible, but has copays for doctors and specialist before deductible for $49 per month, same coin and coin max). Or should I get BCBSIL for $43 per m ($2500 deductible, 20%, but only $1000 out-of packet max). I am with no health insurance- I only have health plan provided by my school ($80 per quarter) that covers the visit to internal medicine doctor. My parents don't have insurance. I am currently 19 and work part-time (little dangerous job as I work at stockroom with heavy lifts sometimes). My school provides health insurance from Aetna, but it's too expensive comparing its premium and benefits to individual plans based where I live, not where I go to school, and I live in suburbs where premiums are much cheaper. I already have from Aetna provided by my school cheap vision dental discount plan (vital savings by aetna) for only $29 per YEAR. I enjoy this. I can also have prespription for only $25 per year, but I really don't need this. I have a question about Cigna Health Insurance.? I recently changed my job and my new employer provides Cigna health insurance. I've always had Aetna and could find doctors easily. However, it doesn't seem as though my dermatologist takes Cigna which is weird because she takes every other kind of health coverage. Covered by two health insurance plans? My girlfriend just graduated from college, but she is covered under student health insurance until August of 2007. She just got a job, which gives her free health insurance from Aetna, which means for about 7 months she's going to have two health insurance plans. My question is, is there a way to have it so that one insurance company pays their responsibility, say, the 80% of the medical bill, and then the other company pays the 20% that would be your copayment, so that you end up paying nothing between the two of them? If not, then what is the benefit of having two insurance plans, if there is one. Thanks
