Scan Medical Insurance

I need help, I have no medical insurance and I am pregnant.? I am about 10 weeks pregnant and have no medical insurance. I have applied for medicaid and for the Texas CHIP perinatal care program and have been denied for both because I make too much money. I heard about this program called the Maternity card so I called about that, none of the doctors in my area have ever heard of it and would not take it. I am so scared, there is no way that I can afford to have this baby and pay private pay. They want 600.00 up front and have 3,000.00 paid off by the time I am 6 months. I have other children and don't know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas, I am so worried that I will end up not having any prenatal care and having this baby at home. I already know that if I did not have insurance then I should have not gotten pregnant, please don't tell me that I already know but now that I am what can I do?

We have no health insurance at all, and none available at my husbands work. He has no benefits of any kind. My son whom is 8 receives CHIPS Medical care. I thought the income level was very low to qualify for pregnancy Medicaid under ($2,000 a month), Texas does have CHIPS prenatel program also. Just curious what the limits are income wise for the pregnancy Medicaid if you dont mind? Do you have a idea of the income limits? Child medical coverage in Texas? I have a child 6 yrs old. Until today, he was under my wife's health plan. She worked for her company for 10yrs, and 6 months ago, she had a work related injury. She has had operations, and steroids shots, to alleviate her extreme pain, but nothing has worked. She has Herniated Disc. I live in Texas. My wife was on short term disability, but now she is under workmen comp. There is an organization "CHIPS INSURANCE'', that is run by the State Govt. They are asking for our income. I get $900 in Social Security. My wife is getting Workmen Comp checks. In the Chips Insurance Application Form, they want our gross salary. My question is this: Does her Workmen Comp Checks considered an INCOME? If not, is my Social Security Income the only item I have to declare on the CHIPS application form. Thank you. Child Support/Medical Reimbursement question.? In December of 2010 I had to go to court because my ex request that I pay child support of our 9 year old son. I asked that I not pay child support since I had him at least half the time, every week Fri-Monday morning +, and it was ruled that I did not have to pay him support. I was asked however if I thought it was fair to reimburse him for insurance ( he was very smart and after the break up rushed to add him to his insurance before i could) and I said yes. The court ordered that I pay $X amount a month and that was that. He was the given main custody of our child. I didnt argue, which I now regret, because since I left I wanted my kids (one older son, a year older that he helped me raise too) to attend the same school for the remainder of the year and not separate them since they are very close. In about April or May my ex got fired for stealing time from the company and he lost his medical insurance but I have still been paying him since. He did not inform me he got fired, i had to find out on my own. I am about to request a review/modification from the Texas Attorney General. I wanted to request that A) I be allowed to stop paying him medical reimbursement for insurance that he is no longer provided. and B) That I be awarded custody of our son since I feel that him getting fired over stealing and still not having a job (to my knowledge though if he did he refuses to give me such information) shows he is irresponsible. He says that he is putting him on CHIP but being that he will probably get that for free is that even allowed? For me to pay him for medical reimbursement when he receives it from the government for close to free if not free? Do you think that they can give me primary custody of my son? Side note: I've had my kids Friday- Monday morning while they were in school, during their spring break when he decided to go on vaca with his new girl, and Since June 9th and will have them all until they go back to school in August. My kids visited him fathers day and a few hours the Fourth of July. I told him that my older son will live with me from now on and now he refused to help with anything financial (which is fine) and even has gone as far as to say that he should be reimbursed for the last 11 years for helping support him. He has his Social Security and I think he is claiming government benefits with it and (this is not his biological son) and says he is going to claim both children for income tax. I've asked him repeatedly to give me back my son's social card and he refuses. If things continue the way they have I will have had them both for over half the year, Can I request that I be allowed to claim them since he has hardly supported them at all. I have had my kids for over a month and I'm reimbursing him for something he is not providing. That takes food and clothes and what not away from my kids.

Child support review -texas (fathers side)? If the non custodial parent pays x amount of money for child support and x amount for medical, because the mother had the child on medicaid, but now no longer qualified for medicaid and now has the child on CHIPS program, is the father still liable to pay for the medical? IF the medical pay was going to the "state" (which i assume) to pay for the medicaid, is the money now going to the mother (custodial parent) If the father wants to add the child to his work insurance, could he do that and would he not have to pay the medical? We are about to go for our child support review its been 3 years now. i want to kind of get a heads up on what might happen. I also make 2 dollars more than i was when we started. But i don't get overtime like i did when i made less? Any advise from any fathers who've gone for child support reviews would really help! @ common sense, i learned that real quick that AG dont care and catagorizes all fathers as dead beat fathers. every case is different, they dont see that though. I had to call a domestic relations lady who finally set my baby mama straight cause that girl is drama.

When a Texas WORKER'S OR BENIFICIARY'S NOTICE OF INJURY OR OCCUPATIONAL DISEASE AND CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION is timely filed to the Texas Department of Insurance -Division of Workers Compensation, What is the statutory limitation, as in turn around time, to timely mail or notify the "Carrier"? Who's legally responsible for the claim if TDI-DWC doesn't notify "Carrier" timely & the injured worker is denied benefits & medical treatment (can't get medical treatment in 6 months for bone spurs/chips & 3 herniated discs. Employer did not file original injury report to "carrier" & Carrier has not responded). A “Carrier” is a required employer’s insurance company to cover on the job injuries. The TDI-DWC is there to process & record the claim & also to help you focus on prompt medical treatment & get back to work. Please state the law on response time; e.g. TDI-DWC receives a claim, mails notification to parties; How long to get it in the mail & what proof would TDI-DWC have of this?
